Penny Mortimer is a community artist and children’s art teacher, living and working on Kaurna Land/Adelaide.
Penny is passionate about creating meaningful connections through creating art.
Having completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Applied Design and a Bachelor of Education, she combines her love for both art and working with children. With over 20 years of experience, she has enjoyed working with a diverse range of ages, abilities, and socio-cultural backgrounds. Penny has exhibited her own ceramic sculptures in galleries over the years and has created colourful public murals and installations.
Penny aims to use art as a tool to empower and inspire individuals to express themselves and connect with others.
